KDPOF Presentations at CHIPNATION Congress

We’re excited to present our optical gigabit connectivity technology and chip production plans at CHIPNATION Congress on 28 November 2023 in Getafe, Spain. It’s the first national congress of the Spanish semiconductor industry – Building the future of the European semiconductors industry.

From 13:15 to 14:00, our CEO Carlos Pardo will discuss “IPCEI and the capabilities deployed in Spain” at the round table, together with Jose Capmany, COO of iPronics Programmable Photonics, and Iñigo Artundo, CEO of VLC Photonics (Hitachi Group). Moderator will be Estela Gallego, Advisory Spokesperson, Directorate General for Industry and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

The Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (Asociación Española de la Industria de Semiconductores, AESEMI), in collaboration with the Getafe City Council (GISA) and the Technological Innovation and Talent Cluster (CITT) in semiconductors, are the initiatives and organizers of the CHIPNATION Congress.

The Congress aims to become the meeting point of the semiconductor ecosystem at national level, with the participation of leading personalities from the academic and business world to discuss the main current issues for our sector. The semiconductor and microelectronics ecosystem in Spain is at a point of unique growth that makes it essential to create spaces where companies, universities and R&D entities can meet and work together.
